Examples of Powder Coating Results:
Traditional wet spray painting just doesn't do what powder coating does. Powder coating not only refinishes and restores in a much more aesthetic way, in any color you want, but better protects against rust and corrosion. Your objects will wear better and last longer with an extremely tough, durable, and scratch-resistant finish (often more than 20 years!). Unlike wet spray painting, powder coating is also virtually pollution-free, containing no volatile organic compounds (VOCs) or carcinogens. You save money and cause no harm.
What is Powder Coating?
A clever metal finishing technology, powder coating is a process where a positively-charged acrylic or polyester-based powder is sprayed onto a negatively-charged surface. It creates a much stronger bond than traditional wet painting, seals imperfections better, eliminates rust and scaling, lasts longer (up to 20 years!), and looks incredible.
What Can Be Powder Coated?
The powder coat process is best suited to all-metal parts and assemblies, including steel and aluminum. Plastic, rubber, wood, ceramic, glass, fabric, and similar non-metallics are typically not coated. Similarly, soldered parts may not withstand the curing temperature.
